  • A phone lock code will be used to unlock the phone as well as confirm your identity for certain features and apps

    From the home screen, tap Settings

    Scroll down and tap Touch ID & Passcode

  • 3.

    Tap Turn Passcode On

  • 4.

    Enter a passcode

  • 5.

    Re-enter the passcode

  • 6. Enter your Apple ID password and then tap Continue
  • 7.

    Tap Require Passcode

  • 8.

    Tap the duration after the phone goes to sleep after which you would like the passcode to be required

  • 9.

    To lock the phone, press the Side Button

  • 10.

    To unlock the phone, press the Side Button

  • 11.

    Press the Home Button

  • 12.

    Enter your passcode
