  • 1. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake Button to turn the phone on
  • 2. Press the Home Button
  • 3. Tap your desired language
  • 4. Select your country or region
  • 5. Tap the Wi-Fi network you wish to connect to
  • 6. If required, enter the network’s password and then tap Join
  • 7. Tap Enable Location Services
  • 8. Enter a passcode
  • 9. Re-enter the passcode
  • 10. Select if you would like to restore data from a different phone or account. In this example, we will select Set Up as New iPhone
  • 11. Tap the Apple ID field
  • 12. Enter your Apple ID and then tap Return
  • 13. Enter your password and then tap Return
  • 14. Tap Agree
  • 15. Tap Next
  • 16. If you would like to store passwords and credit card details in iCloud Keychain, tap Continue. Otherwise tap Donʼt Restore Passwords
  • 17. Tap Continue
  • 18. If you would like to activate Siri, tap Set Up Siri
  • 19. Say Hey Siri
  • 20. Repeat this four more times until the Siri set up is complete and then tap Continue
  • 21. Select whether or not you would like to send diagnostic information to Apple. We will select Don’t Send
  • 22. Tap Get Started
