  • 1. Press and hold the Power/Lock Key to turn the phone on

  • 3. Tap your desired language

  • 5. Make sure Data Enabled is turned on and then tap Next
  • 6. To connect to Wi-Fi, tap the network you wish to join
  • 7. If required, enter the network’s password and then tap Connect
  • 8. If you would like to copy data from another phone, tap Copy your Google Accounts, apps and data from your other device. Otherwise, tap No Thanks
  • 9. Tap Next
  • 10. Tap Enter your email
  • 11. Enter the email address associated with your Google account and then tap Next
  • 12. Tap Password
  • 13. Enter your password and then tap Next
  • 14. Tap Accept
  • 15. Scroll down and tap Next
  • 16. If you would like to add payment info, tap your desired method. Otherwise tap No, thanks
  • 17. Tap Continue
  • 18. If you would like to add another email address, tap the type of email it is. Otherwise, scroll down and tap Not Now
  • 19. Tap Next
  • 20. To set up the device as a new phone, tap Don’t Restore
  • 21. To add an unlock method, make sure the check box is selected and then tap Next
  • 22. Tap your preferred unlock method. In this example, we will select PIN
  • 23. Enter a PIN and then tap the arrow
  • 24. Re-enter your PIN and then tap the arrow
  • 25. Select your lock screen notification preferences and then tap Next
  • 26. Tap Finish
