  • 1. Swipe down from the top of the screen with two fingers
  • 2. Tap the Settings icon
  • 3. Tap More
  • 4. Tap Tethering & Portable Hotspot
  • 5. Tap the status switch beside Portable Wi-Fi Hotspot
  • 6. Tap Set up Wi-Fi Hotspot
  • 7. Tap Network SSID
  • 8. Enter a name for the network. This is the name that other devices will see
  • 9. Scroll down and tap Password
  • 10. Enter a Password and then tap Save. This is the password that must be entered on other devices connecting to the network
  • 11. To turn a hotspot off, swipe down from the top of the screen with two fingers
  • 12. Tap Hotspot
