From the home screen, tap the Menu Key

Tap Settings

Scroll down and tap Security
4.
Tap Set Up Screen Lock

Tap your desired screen lock method. In this example, we will select PIN

Enter your PIN and then tap Continue
7.
Confirm your PIN and then tap OK
8.
Tap Automatically Lock
9.
Tap the duration after which you would like the phone to lock after it goes to sleep
10.
When the phone locks, press the Power/Lock Key
11.
Enter your PIN and then tap Return
