  • 1. Swipe down from the top of the screen with two fingers
  • 2. Tap the Settings icon
  • 3. Scroll down and tap Security
    If you already have an unlock method set up, you can skip to step 10
  • 4. Tap Screen Lock
  • 5. Tap your desired unlock method. In this example, we will select Tap PIN
  • 6. Enter a PIN and then tap Continue
  • 7. Re-enter the PIN and then tap OK
  • 8. Select what notifications you would like displayed on the lock screen. In this example, we will select Do not show notifications
  • 9. Tap Done
  • 10. Tap Smart Lock
  • 11. Enter your PIN and then tap Continue
  • 12. Tap Trusted Devices
  • 13. Tap Add Trusted Device
  • 14. Tap the device you wish to use
    Bluetooth must be turned on and you must be connected to the device you wish to use as a trusted device
  • 15. The phone will remain unlocked as long as the phone remains connected to the device
  • 16. If you would like to manually lock the phone, press the Power/Lock Key twice
  • 17. Tap the lock icon. The phone will remain locked until you manually unlock it
  • 18. To unlock the phone, press the Power/Lock Key again
  • 19. Swipe the Lock icon upwards
  • 20. Enter your PIN and then tap OK
